Abu Dhabi, UAE — December 7: Under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, attended the grand finale of the 33rd UAE President Cup for Arabian Purebred Horses.
Khalifa bin Tahnoon presented the winner of the seventh race, HH The President Cup for Arabian Purebred Horses (Group 1) — the evening’s richest contest with a prize purse of AED 8 million. He said the UAE President Cup demonstrates the leadership’s commitment to protecting the nation’s equestrian heritage and praised the event for strengthening Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a global centre for Arabian horse racing.
He also highlighted the Cup’s role in attracting top competitors from around the world, supporting the equestrian sector, and ensuring the preservation of authentic heritage for future generations.
The finale was attended by several senior figures, including Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society; Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation; and Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wajib Volunteer Association.
