Tel Aviv, April 7 (ANI) — The Israeli Defence Forces published new footage it says shows how its missiles target Iran’s air defence systems. The video, reportedly captured by missile-mounted cameras, presents the final moments before impact on sites the IDF attributes to Iran’s military air-defence network, part of what the IDF describes as efforts to weaken Tehran’s layered defences amid ongoing regional hostilities.
In an accompanying post on X, the IDF said the Air Force intelligence branch guided precise strikes that have destroyed more than 130 Iranian air-defence systems, and shared the missile-view images to illustrate those operations.
Israeli and US briefings in recent weeks have highlighted concerted moves to neutralise Iranian air-defence capabilities. United States Central Command also released footage of targets engaged in combined strikes, saying the dismantling of Iranian missile and radar facilities is a central objective.
Separately, the IDF reported that forces operating in southern Lebanon uncovered underground living quarters and multiple weapons caches. The incident report said troops found subterranean habitations, military vests, RPG rockets, explosive devices and a flag bearing the UNHCR emblem, along with stockpiles that included AK-47s, RPG launchers and sniper rifles.
World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus condemned a strike near Rafik Hariri University Hospital, Lebanon’s largest public medical facility. The strike, he said, killed four people, injured 39 and heavily damaged a nearby residential area, as Israel expands operations in Lebanon.
