Sanaa, Yemen, April 1 (ANI) — The Yemeni Armed Forces said on Saturday they carried out a “third joint operation” with allied groups in Iran and Lebanon, striking what they described as sensitive sites in southern occupied Palestine.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Yahya Saree posted on X that the operation involved cooperation with “Brother Mujahideen” in Iran and Hezbollah, and that a salvo of ballistic missiles was launched at Israeli targets south of the occupied territories. Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported the Yemeni statement, saying the strike was conducted “in support of the resistance fronts” and calling the coordinated action successful.
The Israel Defense Forces said on its official Telegram channel that it had identified missiles launched from Iran toward Israel and that defensive systems were activated to intercept them. Israel’s Home Front Command issued precautionary directives directly to mobile phones in affected areas.
The announcement follows Houthi claims earlier in the week of a “second military operation” against Israel, in which the group said a barrage of cruise missiles and drones targeted vital and military sites in southern occupied Palestine. Saree described that action as part of a “Holy Jihad Battle” and said it coincided with operations by allied forces in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The Yemeni statements come after the group’s official entry into the wider regional conflict the previous day. This report is based on a syndicated feed and has been published as received; the publisher assumes no responsibility for independent verification of the content.
