Dubai, May 16, 2026 — Dubai Chambers hosted a high-level delegation from Montenegro led by Majda Adzovic, Montenegro’s Minister of Public Works, for talks aimed at strengthening investment ties and expanding cooperation in the infrastructure sector.
The meeting, held at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, focused on identifying partnership opportunities that would benefit businesses in both markets. Participants explored ways to increase mutual investment flows, develop joint projects, and open routes for Dubai-based companies to enter the Montenegrin market and for Montenegrin firms to tap Dubai’s regional and global networks.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasized the chamber’s commitment to deepening economic engagement with Montenegro. He highlighted Dubai’s experience in large-scale infrastructure development and its attractive business environment as key advantages Montenegro-based companies could leverage when expanding internationally.
“We are strengthening channels of communication between the business communities in Dubai and Montenegro and working to unlock sustainable economic partnerships, particularly in infrastructure where Dubai has strong expertise,” Lootah said. The discussions also focused on fostering collaboration around innovation and sustainability to ensure long-term growth amid shifting global economic conditions.
Both sides agreed on the importance of building momentum in bilateral economic relations through continued dialogue, networking, and targeted initiatives that facilitate private-sector cooperation. Proposed measures included matchmaking efforts between companies, joint investment promotion, and follow-up mechanisms to monitor and accelerate deal-making.
The meeting signals renewed interest from both governments and business communities in converting diplomatic ties into concrete commercial projects. By combining Montenegro’s market opportunities with Dubai’s infrastructure know-how and investor ecosystem, officials aim to create durable partnerships that support regional connectivity and sustainable development.
