About Us
Who we are, what we cover, and the principles behind our reporting.
Express News Network (ENN) is an independent digital news publication covering India, South Asia and the wider world. We publish throughout the day, bringing readers a clear and accurate account of the developments that matter -- in government and diplomacy, security and defence, business and the economy, science and technology, sport and culture.
What we cover
Our reporting is organised into ten sections, each built around the questions our readers ask most often:
- World News -- conflicts, crises and turning points across the Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and Africa.
- India -- national affairs, the states, and the Indian diaspora around the world.
- South Asia -- Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and the region's shared challenges.
- US News -- the White House, immigration, and the American stories with consequences far beyond the United States.
- Politics -- elections, diplomacy and the policy decisions that shape how countries are governed and how they deal with one another.
- Business -- the economy, markets, trade and energy.
- Defence -- armed forces, military developments and security threats, including terrorism.
- Science & Tech -- technology, space, health and the environment.
- Sports and Entertainment -- cricket, football and more, alongside film, television, music and the people behind them.
How we report
We believe readers are best served by journalism that is concise, factual and fair. Our stories are written to inform rather than to inflame. We distinguish clearly between what has been established and what has been claimed, we attribute statements to the people and institutions that made them, and we do not present opinion as fact.
Much of our daily coverage draws on public information and on the reporting of wire services and other news organisations, including official statements, government data, court records and agency copy. Where a story is based on or adapted from another organisation's reporting -- such as a news agency feed -- we credit that source in the article. Our detailed standards are set out in our Editorial Policy.
Independence
Express News Network is editorially independent. No government, political party, advertiser or commercial partner decides what we cover or how we cover it. If we ever publish sponsored or paid content, it will be clearly labelled so that it cannot be mistaken for our journalism.
Accuracy and accountability
We work hard to get things right, and when we get something wrong we say so. Errors of fact are corrected promptly and transparently, as described in our Corrections Policy. If you believe we have published something inaccurate or unfair, we want to hear from you.
