Jerusalem, March 26 (ANI) — The Israel Defense Forces said Thursday it completed a series of strikes in Isfahan that targeted multiple pieces of Iranian regime infrastructure.
The Israel Air Force earlier reported that, guided by intelligence, it conducted overnight sorties against production sites in the Tehran area. The IAF said the strikes hit facilities linked to air and sea weapons production and simultaneously struck air-defence systems and a missile-launcher position said to be aimed at aircraft.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned the United States and Israel against any ground operation inside Iran. In a statement the IRGC urged against sending soldiers into what it called a perilous campaign, adding that invading forces would face heavy resistance.
Addressing the American public directly, the IRGC accused US leaders of being influenced by warmongers and urged Americans to take note of “the truth of the war” across Iranian streets, at fuel stations and in the skies above Israeli cities, the statement said.
Citing US planning sources, CBS reported that the Pentagon is preparing to deploy elements of the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. The plan reportedly would send a command component and some ground forces to the region, and US planners are said to be considering a possible ground operation on Kharg Island.
The IRGC additionally claimed that precision-guided Emad, Qiam, Khorramshahr-4 and Qadr missiles struck more than 70 locations across Israel in what it described as the 81st wave of “Operation True Promise 4.” The IRGC Public Relations Department listed targets including Haifa, Dimona, Al-Khudriyya near Haifa, and areas north and south of Tel Aviv, and warned that it could “level Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground.”
The IRGC also asserted that since the start of the conflict more than 700 missiles and 3,600 drones have been fired at American and Israeli targets, and that Iranian air-defence systems have intercepted and destroyed over 200 hostile aerial threats, including cruise missiles and advanced fighter jets.
