Jerusalem, March 6 — On the sixth day of fighting in Operation Roaring Lion against Iran, Israel’s Ministry of Labour released an estimate of the impact on the national labour market after a special situation was declared on the home front. The ministry said the hardest-hit sectors include arts, entertainment and leisure, management and support services, other services, education and commerce. Overall, about 11% of the labour force — roughly 490,000 people — are currently absent from work because of unemployment, active military duty or reserve mobilization.
