Tehran, March 25 (ANI) — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it carried out the 80th wave of Operation True Promise 4, saying its Aerospace Force struck strategic sites and military centers in northern Israel and targeted US outposts across the region.
In a statement, the IRGC said “strategic points and military centres located in the northern occupied territories were smashed under the heavy and sustained missile attacks of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force.” The statement singled out the Israeli military command in Safed, which it described as coordinating operations along the northern border, among the primary targets.
The corps described these strikes as the opening of a series of pre-announced operations against what it referred to as the “child-killing Zionist regime,” and warned of continued heavy missile and drone attacks on northern Israeli assembly points and the Gaza belt. It said attacks also struck locations in central Israel, naming Tel Aviv, Kiryat Shmona and Bnei Brak.
The IRGC additionally said US bases at Ali al-Salem and Arifjan in Kuwait, al-Azraq in Jordan, and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain were hit. It said the strikes used a mix of liquid- and solid-fuel precision missiles and attack drones.
Operation True Promise 4 began on February 28, the IRGC said, coming shortly after US and Israeli strikes on Iran. The corps vowed to continue the reprisals “until complete victory.”
In a video posted by Fars News, an IRGC military spokesperson mocked then-US President Donald Trump’s negotiating claims, saying US strategic power had become “a strategic defeat” and alleging internal divisions in Washington. “The era of your promises has come to an end… The level of your internal conflicts has reached the stage where you are negotiating with yourselves,” the spokesperson said, adding that Iranian forces would not come to terms with US-Israel forces.
