Iranian state media and allied social accounts have been circulating AI-generated videos, memes and propaganda that ridicule US and Israeli leaders, seeking to project strength and humiliate President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The content ranges in tone and technique but shares the goal of shaping perceptions through satire and spectacle.
One widely shared short adopts a Lego-style animation and is titled “Strait of Hormuz will remain closed,” parodying former statements by Trump and showing a Lego-figure version of him reacting to Iran’s claimed victories before simulated underwater and missile strikes on US naval assets. Another clip transforms Trump into a Teletubby-like character who kneels and pleads with caricatured European leaders—portrayed as Teletubby lookalikes of NATO heads and the leaders of France, Turkey, the UK and Italy—only to be rebuffed with repeated “no” responses.
Other pieces depict Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, symbolically rising from rubble to emphasize resilience. Together, these AI-crafted items form part of a broader information campaign that leverages improving synthetic imagery and animation to mock adversaries, influence audiences and amplify Tehran’s narrative across social platforms.
