Tehran, March 25 (ANI) — Iran released footage on Wednesday showing the 80th wave of Operation True Promise 4, depicting missiles fired toward U.S. and Israeli positions in the region, even as U.S. President Donald Trump said negotiations appeared possible. Trump told reporters that talks were underway and that Iran “would like to make a deal,” while also asserting that Iran’s navy, air force and communications had been largely degraded. He said the conflict was drawing to a close, claiming U.S. aircraft were flying over Tehran and that Iran was “totally defeated… Militarily, they are dead.” The IRGC had said that the previous wave, Wave 79, breached Israel’s layered air-defence networks and hit intelligence facilities in Tel Aviv and Beersheba, along with military and commercial sites across the occupied Palestinian territories. In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Public Relations Department identified the operation by the codename “O Kheyral Fatehin” and said it employed Kheibar Shekan, Emad and Sejjil missiles along with attack drones from the IRGC Aerospace Force. The IRGC listed specific targets reportedly struck: secure sites tied to Israel’s intelligence services in northern and central Tel Aviv, military support and commercial centres in Ramat Gan and the Negev, and the principal logistics and southern military command hub in Beersheba. Speaking at the United Nations Conference on Disarmament, Iran’s deputy UN envoy Reza Dehghani condemned U.S. and Israeli strikes and defended Tehran’s actions as legitimate self-defence. Dehghani said Iran does not seek hostility with its neighbours but warned that states allowing their territory to be used against Iran would face consequences. He also said attacks on Iranian civilians continue and argued that the use of force should not become normalized in international relations. Citing Article 51 of the UN Charter, Dehghani maintained that Iran’s defensive operations are confined to the targets, bases and forces of the regional aggressor.
