Vienna, March 4, 2026 — The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Tuesday that recent satellite imagery shows damage to entrance buildings at Iran’s underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant, but that no radiological consequences are expected. The agency added that no additional impact was detected at the FEP itself, which it noted had been severely damaged in June.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported separately that US‑Israeli strikes on Monday hit the Natanz complex, reportedly severely damaging at least three buildings. In posts on X, ISW said the combined force has been working to degrade Iranian air defenses to maintain air superiority over western Iran and Tehran, and that strikes on March 2 also targeted internal security sites involved in policing protests and regime information operations.
A Reuters photograph accompanying reports showed debris after an Israeli strike on a police station in Tehran. The IAEA said it will continue monitoring the site using available imagery and reporting channels.
