The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) media wing Hakkal said the group conducted a series of coordinated attacks across Balochistan between March 14 and March 16, according to a statement carried by ANI.
The BLA said the first incident occurred on March 14 in the Garuk area of Kharan district, where fighters ambushed a military convoy using rockets and heavy weapons. The group claimed at least six military vehicles were hit, resulting in 14 soldiers killed and more than 10 wounded.
The statement also said that a day earlier its fighters intercepted a truck carrying food supplies to a military outpost in the same region. The vehicle was reportedly set on fire while the drivers were released unharmed, which the BLA said was consistent with its operational policy.
On March 15, the BLA claimed it attacked a military base and a jet fuel storage facility at Turbat Airport, saying grenade launchers were used and infrastructure was damaged. Independent verification of damage at the airport was not immediately available.
Also on March 15, the group said an urban guerrilla unit struck a Coast Guard checkpoint in the Panwan area of Jiwani in Gwadar district. The BLA alleged its fighters disguised themselves before the attack and said three Coast Guard personnel—identified as Naik Saleem, Sepoy Adnan Rao, and Sepoy Azeem—were killed and weapons and ammunition were seized.
In a separate operation on March 16, the BLA reported detonating a remote-controlled improvised explosive device against a military convoy in the Bakhtiar Loni area of Dukki district, claiming the blast destroyed a vehicle and killed 10 soldiers.
These claims come from the BLA’s Hakkal statement and have not been independently confirmed. The account was published via a syndicated feed; the Tribune and other outlets note they publish such content as received and do not assume responsibility for independent verification of the details.
