Algiers, December 7 — Fourteen people were killed and 34 injured when a passenger bus overturned on a national highway in southern Algeria, the Civil Protection Service said. The agency reported the vehicle flipped onto its roof while traveling on the route linking Bechar and Tindouf. Rescue crews treated wounded passengers at the scene and transferred several people in critical condition to a nearby hospital.
