Air India Group and IndiGo will each run 30 services to and from West Asia on Wednesday as carriers adjust schedules amid changing airspace conditions. Flights to Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait and Tel Aviv remain suspended.
Air India Group said 16 of its 30 West Asia services will be non-scheduled, ad hoc operations to and from the United Arab Emirates, subject to slot availability, operational conditions and approvals from Indian and UAE authorities. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will continue to be served primarily through these ad hoc or non-scheduled flights.
Planned Air India Group operations include Delhi–Dubai services by Air India and Air India Express. Abu Dhabi will be served by Air India Express from Delhi, Kochi, Mangalore and Mumbai. Sharjah flights are scheduled from Amritsar and Kannur. There are no planned operations to Ras Al Khaimah or Al Ain.
In Oman, scheduled services to Muscat will continue, with Air India Express operating from Delhi, Mumbai and Kannur; Salalah remains without services. Saudi connectivity is limited: Air India will operate Jeddah flights from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will connect Kozhikode and Mangalore with Jeddah. Riyadh will have scheduled operations, though details for the day are limited, and Dammam service remains suspended.
IndiGo has scheduled 30 flights across its Middle East network, linking Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kochi with destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Muscat and Sharjah. The carrier advised customers to check the latest flight status before traveling, as schedules may change with evolving conditions.
Air India Group noted its long-haul operations to North America, Europe and Australia are unaffected and are continuing as per schedule, indicating disruptions are largely confined to West Asia routes.
Passengers affected by cancellations have been offered free rebooking or full refunds. Air India Express is also allowing UAE-bound passengers to move to alternate flights within its network without additional charges.
