New Delhi [India], December 2 (ANI): Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted collaboration between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for “shared prosperity of the people” as he attended the 54th UAE National Day celebrations in Delhi.
Goyal said India’s vision of Vikasit Bharat 2047 resonates closely with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031.”
He pointed to a growing partnership in education, noting Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Management and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade opening in Dubai, and said the relationship will be a role model for others.
In a post on X, Goyal thanked H.E. Dr. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, UAE Ambassador to India, for his warmth and hospitality and expressed pride in the strong India-UAE partnership “driven by trust, innovation & shared vision for the future.”
December 2 marks the UAE’s 54th anniversary since the country’s foundation in 1971, when six emirates—Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah—formed a federation; Ras al Khaimah joined early the following year.
