Tel Aviv [Israel], April 25 (ANI): The Israeli Air Force struck launchers used by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on Saturday, saying the systems posed a threat to Israel.
According to the IAF, strikes hit launchers in Dir al-Zahrani, Kafr Remen and al-Sa’miyeh, north of the forward defense line. The Air Force said the targeted launchers constituted a real threat to IDF forces and Israeli civilians.
Earlier, the IAF also attacked launchers in Yaroun and Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon, calling those systems a danger to IDF troops and citizens of the State of Israel.
On Friday, the Israel Defense Forces said it struck Hezbollah military structures in the Deir Aames area after rockets were launched toward Shtula, describing the strike as a response to Hezbollah’s violation of the ceasefire.
The IDF also reported uncovering Hezbollah’s use of ambulances to conceal weapons and operatives. During searches in southern Lebanon, an ambulance was found to contain explosive devices, mortar shells, magazines and a grenade, the military said, adding that such use of medical vehicles undermines protections afforded to medical personnel and facilities under international law.
