Three Indian nationals were injured when a fire broke out at the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone (FOIZ) in the UAE following a reported drone strike, officials said.
The Indian Embassy in the UAE confirmed on X that three Indians sustained injuries and said it is coordinating with local authorities to ensure they receive medical care and welfare support. Local media cited Fujairah Civil Defence as saying teams responded immediately and worked to bring the blaze under control.
The UAE state news agency WAM reported that authorities in the eastern emirate of Fujairah attributed the fire to a drone attack originating from Iran. Khaleej Times reported the three Indians suffered moderate injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Separately, the UAE Ministry of Defence said Iran launched four missiles toward various areas across the country. The Foreign Ministry strongly condemned what it described as renewed, unprovoked Iranian aggression involving missiles and drones. Officials urged the public not to circulate rumours and to rely only on official sources for information.
