Kathmandu — Nepal Airlines on Thursday apologised after a network map it posted on social media depicted Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan. The airline deleted the post on Wednesday following criticism.
In a statement on X, Nepal Airlines said it “sincerely apologise(s)” for the error, calling it a significant cartographic inaccuracy regarding international boundaries that does not reflect the official stance of Nepal or the carrier. The airline said it has removed the post and launched an internal review to ensure its materials meet high standards of accuracy.
The carrier added that it values its relationships with neighbouring countries and regrets any offence the post may have caused.
