Tel Aviv, March 24 (ANI): The Israeli Defence Forces said it carried out more than 50 overnight strikes on targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), hitting command centres, weapons storage facilities and aerial defence systems.
In a post on X, the IDF said it has conducted “3,000+ strikes across Iran since the start of Operation Roaring Lion,” and that the recent overnight strikes included ballistic missile storage and launch sites.
Al Jazeera Breaking reported explosions in Baghdad and said the death toll rose to 14 after a US airstrike on a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) base in Iraq. The outlet, citing Iranian media, also reported attacks on energy infrastructure in Iran. Bahrain said a fire broke out at a facility due to what it called “criminal Iranian aggression.”
The Times of Israel reported six people were lightly injured after an Iranian missile struck Tel Aviv. Channel 12, citing police, said a munition carrying about 100 kilograms of explosives impacted central Tel Aviv, damaging multiple buildings and vehicles; missile parts also fell in Rosh Ha’ayin east of Tel Aviv.
Press TV reported that Imam Ali Hospital in the Iranian city of Andimeshk was evacuated and is no longer in service after direct attacks by the US and Israel.
Al Jazeera Breaking said an Israeli attack hit a petrol station in southern Lebanon, triggering a large explosion and fire, and that the Israeli army had issued displacement orders to residents.
Arab News, citing Israeli outlet Yedioth Ahronoth, reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was prepared to negotiate with the Americans. Yedioth said a conversation between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and U.S. intermediary Steve Witkoff was approved at the highest level in Iran.
