New Delhi [India], February 7 (ANI): Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan, AOC-in-C, CAC, on Saturday met Brigadier-General Ho Kum Luen, Chief of Staff—Air Staff, Republic of Singapore Air Force, and Brigadier-General Chan Ching Hao, Chief of Staff—Joint Staff, Singapore Armed Forces, at the Changi Exhibition Centre on the sidelines of the Singapore Airshow 26.
The Indian Air Force posted that during the official visit to Singapore, Air Marshal Manikantan also interacted with H.E. Dr. Shilpak Ambule, India’s High Commissioner to Singapore, and with the Sarang Helicopter Display Team participating in the airshow. In a solemn ceremony he laid a wreath at the Kranji War Memorial to honour those who fell in World War II.

The show runs February 7–8 and features aerobatic flying teams performing high-speed stunts and manoeuvres, displays of the latest commercial and military aircraft, mascots Leo and Leonette, and a programme of family-friendly activities.
In a joint statement on September 4, 2025, India and Singapore adopted enhanced defence cooperation, encouraging continued exchanges and engagement at all levels, including regular Defence Ministers’ Dialogue and Defence Policy Dialogue between senior officials; continuing military cooperation through joint army, naval, and air exercises; and deepening defence technology cooperation in emerging areas such as quantum computing, AI, automation, and unmanned vessels.
