London, May 4 (ANI) — Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Representative of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, visited 10 Downing Street as part of a cultural diplomacy effort and held talks with senior political leaders and special advisors to the British Prime Minister. The visit highlighted ideas from the Vichar Kranti Abhiyan (Thought Revolution Movement) in its birth centenary year.
Dr. Pandya underlined the movement’s central message, “Hum Badlenge, Yug Badlega” (When we transform, the era transforms), stressing that individual character building is the foundation for wider societal renewal. He outlined Shantikunj’s social initiatives, including youth awakening programmes, de-addiction work and campaigns for moral renewal. He also described the Holistic Education System at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, which combines modern scientific research with traditional Indian values to nurture compassionate and skilled citizens.
Diplomatic engagements continued at the British Houses of Parliament, where Dr. Pandya met Major Lord Alderdice to discuss the role of global youth. He said technical skills are important but must be balanced with grounding in moral values and character development to empower young people as agents of peace. Lord Alderdice acknowledged the value of skills development and innovation. During the meeting, Dr. Pandya presented sacred Yug Sahitya literature and emphasized the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family — as a basis for international dialogue.
